After looking at the work of Henri Rousseau we "practice draw" various jungle animals. Then we begin creating our collage. First we painted a design using cool colors on the white paper to use as a base. Then we worked on our background by adding leaves in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. Next we created jungle animals using colored paper to use in our middle ground. These were attached with cat stairs. The foreground was created by creating clumps of leaves and attaching them with cat stairs. Finally, lizard, snakes, and bugs were added.
